This project is near and dear to my heart. For over a year, I spoke weekly to a client who has Bipolar Disorder, and is also a high ranking CFO for a shipping company, a wonderful father, and an incredible athlete. Over the year, he told me intimate details about his life, and his struggles with Bipolar Disorder, as well as his greatest highlights. Together we tackled the stigma about this disorder, and vocalized his desire to belong free from shame. Through this project, he marveled on the power of creative expression, and how wonderful it felt to be heard. He has continued to thank me for the impact this project had on his life.
