Through the expressive arts, I help my clients find the special hidden in the mundane so they can embody their desires in everyday life. When working together, clients remember the inherent joy of the art making process. Captivated by the symbolic act of making something special, people escape the unhelpful narratives that constrain them.  Using a graceful, innovative, and heartfelt style, I help people transform these insights into tangible change.
Clients learn how to communicate in a myriad of modalities, so they can enrich their relationships beyond the limitations of the spoken word. I weave endless curiosity, open-mindedness, and cultural humility into a dynamic framework that awakens children, family members, and communities to their embodied potential. Ultimately, they develop a heartfelt resilience to sustain them through the inevitable shadows of life.
Currently, I am a student at the California Institute of Integral Studies in the Counseling Psychology program with a specialization in the Expressive Arts. I seek a practicum site that provides extensive experiential training, offers candid critique of my emerging therapeutic skills, and provides a solid foundation of practical skills for the mental health field.
